How to personalize your D365 F&O dashboard in 3 simple steps
One of the best things about D365 is the ability to store vast amounts of information and implement complex processes. However, an overabundance of information or information that is not relevant in the wrong spaces can actually do the opposite and hurt productivity.
When logging into the D365 Finance and Operations application for the first time, the first page you’ll see is a dashboard with many white tiles that link to nested workspaces.
The default dashboard has 63 tiles – that is a lot of information to wade through to find what you are looking for. In fact, chances are that you will not be using all of these tiles and their existence just serves to clutter your dashboard.
Luckily, Microsoft has made it easy to customize your dashboard to make it work for you.
How To Hide or Show Tiles in D365 F&O:
1. Click on the gear icon located in the upper right corner of the dark blue toolbar.
2. Click on the personalize link on the dropdown. The personalization menu will popup.
3. Select the hide button on the personalization menu and then click on all of the tiles you’d like to hide from your dashboard. Click close.
The page will refresh after you click close with the changes you made. As you see, all of the tiles we selected have been hidden from view on the dashboard.
How To Move Tiles in D365 F&O:
1. Select the move button on the personalize menu and select the tile you want to move.
2. Drag the tile to desired location and release.
3. Click close to save changes.
In just a few minutes, you can turn your cluttered D365 F&O dashboard into a streamlined, easy to use launchpad.
